The Challenge is Set! The Ultimate experiment in Buzz and Affiliate Marketing.

My husband and I have set a challenge for ourselves.

Our ‘main’ business is dealing in antiques and collectibles. We like it very much, but the busy work is really starting to wear us down. Recently we started a blog called CollectiblesCornerTV.com. And it is this site that will be the subject of our experiment over the next year…

We’ve heard of people making a living blogging, buzz marketing and doing affiliate blogging, so we’re putting it to the test.

Through this site and CollectiblesCornerTV.com we’re going to be hand-picking sponsors for you who we know, who we’ve worked with, and who we feel very good about recommending. We’re going to be giving you great content - in the form of our web tv show, our business advice posts, our Twitter and facebook updates, etc. In return, we hope you’ll check out our sponsors, look at our services (getmevideo.com, for example).

We encourage comments and we encourage you to link back to your own stuff in your comments - all we ask in return is that you link to us somewhere on your site :-)

Regularly we will be shamelessly posting our stats - our affiliate income, our sales as a direct result of these sites…. for better or worse. We hope it’s for better!

What is our Target?

Our target is to, by the end of the year, be doing $7,000 per month as a direct result of this experiment!

What do we forfeit if we don’t reach our goal?

We will go to the top of the empire state building and stand there for no less than 15 minutes with a sign that says “We have failed. Forsake us.”

Can it be done?

Are we insane???

Why should I care????

It works both ways - you take your time to visit us, we provide you good information… so head on over to this post 7 Superior Alternatives to Google Adwords for some great content :-)

Lets start this experiment.
